Simmons' HealthSmart® Bed allows hotels to do something they've never been able to do before -- clean their mattress tops.

Washing the HealthSmart® Bed is almost as easy as washing bed sheets. Hotels may choose to clean the HealthSmart® mattress top in a washing machine or have it dry cleaned.*

HealthSmart® Bed Washing Instructions:

1) Unzip the mattress top from the mattress.

2) Fold the mattress top lengthwise and zip it up like a sleeping bag.

3) Place the mattress top into the washing machine.

4) Wash using laundry detergent. You may use bleach as well.

5) Dry the mattress top with a cycle equivalent to a load of towels.

6) Zip the mattress top back onto the mattress.

7) Sleep healthy.

*Must wash in a large capacity, front loading machine or dry clean.

The result—a fresh, clean mattress that is safe and healthy!

The HealthSmart® Bed is not a mattress cover. It uses a combination of fabrics to help prevent stains and fluids from seeming into the mattress surface.

  • CoolMax® channeled fibers wick away sweat and moisture as you sleep and allow fabric to dry easily in the laundry.
  • Nano-Tex™ creates a virtually impervious layer that traps fluids and particles so they can be washed away.

Nano-Tex™ is a trademark of Nano-Tex, LLC used under license by Simmons Bedding Company.

CoolMax® is a registered trademark of Invista used under license by Du Pont Sabanci.
